Allison Cameron is an early career researcher and teacher in early childhood education in the School of Education. Allison's area of expertise is in early childhood music education and language development. Her PhD research examined the effects of an early childhood music program on the language development of four and five-year-old children. In addition to her specialisation in early childhood music and movement, Allison has worked in the education and community sectors, early intervention and multi-disciplinary teams. This has led to her developing breadth and depth of knowledge and skills in a range of settings.
