Areas of research interest include the arts in early childhood education, particularly music and movement, educators' self-efficacy in music and movement, infant-toddler music pedagogy, children's agency and voice in research, and innovative approaches to professional development for educators. Allison has experience in mixed methods and qualitative research designs.
