TEACHING INTERESTS
Dr Yu has a long history in tertiary education and she has gained broad teaching experience through her employment at Zhengzhou University in China (1986-1996, 2002-2006) and University of Wollongong (UoW), Australia (2009-present). Her teaching focused on 'advanced sensing technologies' and 'advanced signal processing algorithms' in China. Since joining UoW in 2009, she has taught 7 different subjects for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and involved in another 7 subjects as a coordinator, tutor/lab demonstrator/mentor/thesis supervisor.

1) ECTE401/901(Multi-media Signal Processing): 6-credit point major subject for postgraduate and undergraduate students. 1-hour lecture, 0.5 hour tutorial and 1-hour practical per week. 2009 and 2010. Subject Coordinator
