BIO
I am a DECRA Research Fellow within the School of Earth, Atmospheric and Life Sciences at the University of Wollongong investigating historical changes on the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) since European settlement of the Queensland coastline. My current research project 'A pictorial and geochemical history of Great Barrier Reef changes' takes a multidisciplinary approach including geochronology, geochemistry, palaeoecology, geomorphology and palaeoclimatology, to understand recent changes in coral communities on many popular and well photographed reef flats within the GBR.
