I have been working on different aspects of chemistry for over 30 years include academic research developing innovative materials and its translation to commercial products including active pharmaceutical intermediate in GLP environment. I have demonstrated ability to turn ideas and innovations into action and outcomes and lead bioinks synthesis and scale up facility at Translational Research Initiative for Cellular Engineering and Printing (TRICEP), University of Wollongong. Being part of a, multidisciplinary team, I am committed to working collaboratively, with high levels of integrity, accountability and professionalism, and with a continual focus on personal and organisational improvement. I have participated and presented in numerous internal, national and international scientific meetings and conferences and published over 60 peer review publications papers as first or co-author in world recognised scientific journals such as Nature Communication, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Materials, Chemical Science, Energy & Environmental Science and others. My research is cited more than 2730 times and my H-index is 28 (Google Scholar). Under MTP funded project, I have been collaborating with Inventia Life Science Pty Ltd and Professor Fiona Wood from University of Western Australia and have been successful secured funding from Australian Governments Medical Research Future Fund for developing a 3D bioprinting system for intraoperative skin regeneration.

I have also driven several other projects to successful completion and achieved desired outcome. I have been supervising and mentoring junior staff and students. The diverse knowledge and experience will allow me to fulfil every requirement crucial for this project efficiently and timely.
