Nuwan Hegoda Arachchi

BIO

Nuwan Hegoda Arachchi is an Associate Research Fellow at the Intelligent Polymer Research Institute (IPRI), University of Wollongong. Nuwan completed his PhD at IPRI in 2023, where he studied the fundamental mechanisms of protein adsorption on biomaterial surfaces using High-Speed Atomic Force Microscopy (HS-AFM). Since then, Nuwan has contributed to multiple research projects at IPRI, applying his expertise in coatings and interfaces. Nuwan’s current work focuses on two main areas: employing HS-AFM to explore biomaterial interfaces and supporting research and development activities within BIENCO.
