BIO

Associate Professor Michelle Voyer is a Principal Research Fellow with the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS) and an ARC Future Fellow. Building on a decade of experience in Australian state and federal government, her research focuses on the human dimensions of marine conservation and resource management, and the intersections between social science and policy. Her current ARC Future Fellowship investigates innovations in ocean governance, exploring how Indigenous co‑design, participatory approaches, and emerging governance models can contribute to more sustainable, inclusive and just ocean futures, particularly within the expanding ‘Blue Economy’.
