Dr Megan Kelly’s program of research is focused on maternal health, encompassing both laboratory and clinical studies. Clinically, she has been examining maternal and fetal health outcomes following birth, and identifying incidence of cardiovascular outcomes and diabetes following pregnancy complications. In the lab Dr Kelly is looking for biomarkers to help diagnose pregnancy complications at earlier stages and also to identify people who are more at risk of developing future disease following these.
