BIO

Graduated a Master of Statistics with distinction at the University of Wollongong in 2019. Had undertaken a summer scholarship project funded by the Grains Research and Development Corporate (GRDC) in the same year.

Following graduation, I was employed as an Associate Research Fellow (started Aug. 2019) at the Mixed Models and Design of Experiments Laboratory (MMaDEL), based at the University of Wollongong. My role as a biometrician involves performing statistical analyses and optimal experimental designs within Australian plant breeding programs. Following my passion in statistics and plant breeding, I decided to pursue a further education and enrolled into PhD in February, 2024, under the supervision of Brian Cullis, Alison Smith and Carole Birrell. In my PhD, we will be looking at machine learning for environmental covariates in a linear mixed model framework.
