BIO

Klaudia Wagner completed her PhD in 2002 at the Silesian University of Technology in Poland. Followed postdoctoral research at the Massey University in New Zealand, she joined University of Wollongong in 2007.
Her experience covers the areas of electrochemistry and its application to energy harvesting and conversion. She has worked on projects based on the range of photochemical and photocatalytic systems, with the aims to translate basic energy research into applied science, specifically focusing on the development of dye sensitised solar cells, fuel cells, electrochemical cells for CO2 reduction and electrolysers for hydrogen generation.
She is also committed to research in controlled fluidic transport systems and conducting polymers for the development of new functional materials, including materials for bio applications.
