BIO

I am now an Honorary academic at the University of Wollongong, and an active researcher on several projects relating to the history of medicine. These include the history of prison medicine in New South Wales, and public health history, including postage stamps as global health messages; narrative of vaccination in women’s magazines of the 20th century; and historical aspects of pandemics. My past career experiences include laboratory-based research, community public health, history research, leadership in medical education and building research capacity.
