RESEARCH INTERESTS
Kate has a current ISLHD Allied Health, Nursing, and Midwifery Grant to investigate the neuropsychological functioning of people with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
Other research interests include ways to improve the cognitive assessment and therapy of neurodevelopmental conditions. Including ways to make the assessment and reports more user friendly and helpful. Kate is interested in ways to capture the unique strengths of neurodivergent people and to utilise those strengths to improve daily function.
Kate is also interested in ways to improve healthcare and how cognitive weaknesses hinder functioning in chronic medical and mental health conditions.
