BIO

Dr Kate Croaker is a registered psychologist with endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology. She is the secretary of the NSW branch of the Australian Psychological Society's College of Clinical Neuropsychology and a fellow of the Australian Psychological Society. She is a Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 10 years experience in a hospital setting providing neuropsychological assessment and therapy to people who have rehabilitation and medical conditions. Kate has supervised many Clinical Neuropsychology students and registrars as an endorsed supervisor.

Kate utilises her clinical knowledge to teach psychology students about neuropsychopathology, neuroanatomy, neurodiversity, and the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative conditions. Kate coordinates the clinical supervision for the Master's (Professional and Clinical) students conducting cognitive neurodevelopmental assessments within Northfield's Psychology Clinic. Kate has worked to deliberately improve the teaching of cognitive assessments helping students to write easily understood reports and to provide supportive feedback and recommendations. Kate introduced ipad testing into the clinic which has allowed UOW psychology students to be some of the first to learn dual manual and technology based assessment. Allowing our students to graduate more prepared for employment.
