BIO

Professor Jung Ho Kim is a full-time Professor at the Institute for Superconducting and Electronic Materials (ISEM), Australian Institute for Innovative Materials (AIIM), University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia. He received the Bachelor’s (1998), Master’s (2000), and PhD (2005) degrees from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. Since April 2005, he has been a full-time Research Associate at UOW under Prof. Shi Xue Dou’s supervision. He received an Australian Research Council (ARC) Australian Postdoctoral Fellowship (APD) for four years (2008-2011). Subsequently, he received an ARC Future Fellowship (FT) for five years (2012-2016). In addition, he received a first-chief investigator (CI) in ARC Discovery Project, co-CI in four ARC Linkage Projects, ARC Linkage Infrastructure project, and five international research grants. Since 2015, he has been a tenured Professor at UOW.

Professor Kim has established research collaboration/dual-PhD programs and MOU with National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea, and Hanyang University South Korea, since 2016.
Professor Kim is currently acting as Editorial Board and Associate Editor such as Advisory Board Member for Materials Future (IOP), Guest Editor for EcoMat (Wiley), Guest Editor for ChemNanoMat (Wiley), Associate Editor for Science Technology of Advanced Materials (Talyor&Francis), and Associate Editor for Scientific Reports (NPG).

Professor Kim is a 2021 highly cited researcher in cross-field. He has worked on energy harvesting and storage devices. For the past 17 years, he has published over 240 peer-reviewed SCI journal articles. His research has been cited more than 18,000, and the h-factor is > 68.
