Professor Judy Mullan is the Associate Head of School Research and the former Academic Lead Research and Critical Analysis for the Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Wollongong. She is also the Deputy Director of the General Practice Research and Education Network (GPREN).

Professor Mullan is recognised nationally and internationally for her research in supporting and promoting chronic disease and safe medication management, health services research, health literacy and health professional and patient communication.

Professor Mullan is an experienced Higher Degree Research (HDR) supervisor, having successfully supervised fourteen HDR students to completion. She is currently supervising an additional seven HDR students (most of whom are clinicians), and over the past 5 years she has helped support and mentor over 80 medical student research projects.
