Jiangtao Xi

Jiangtao Xi received BE from Beijing Institute of Technology, China in 1982, ME from TsingHua University, China in 1985 and Ph.D from the University of Wollongong, Australia in 1996, all in electrical engineering. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Communications Research Laboratory, McMaster University, Ontario, Canada from 1995 to 1996, a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies Inc., NJ, USA from 1996 to 1998. He worked as the Chief Technical Officer at TCL IT Group Co, China from 2000 to 2002. In 2003 Dr. Xi rejoined the University of Wollongong as a Senior Lecturer and he is currently a full Professor and the Head of School of Electrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering. His research interests include signal processing and its applications in various such areas as instrumentation and measurement, as well as telecommunications.
