Dr Jenny (Jing) Wang is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business at the University of Wollongong. Jenny completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Accounting) at the University of Waikato in 2019. Her thesis was entitled "Power, accommodation and resistance: A Foucauldian perspective on how internal management controls are compromised in Chinese hotels".

Jenny employs both qualitative and quantitative research methods in conducting her research. Her main research interests are auditing, management accounting, accounting history, ethics, and gender diversity, with a focus on business, historical, and accounting issues. Jenny has published over 30 articles in international peer-reviewed academic journals (30+ A or A* ranked articles in the ABDC list) and referred books. Jenny has published journal articles in Abacus: a journal of Accounting, Finance and Business Studies, Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Literature, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Australian Journal of Management, Accounting and Finance, Finance Research Letters, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Corporate Ownership and Control, and The New Zealand Law Journal. 

Jenny is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Accounting and Finance and on the editorial boards of Accounting Education, Accounting and Finance, and Journal of Accounting Literature.
