Dr Jack Thepsourinthone is a Research Specialist with the Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration (PCOC), bringing an interdisciplinary background spanning psychology, public health, sexual health, and gender studies. They hold a PhD in Health Science, a Master of Research, and a Bachelor of Psychology, and have extensive experience designing, leading, and analysing research that addresses complex health and social issues.
Across their career, Dr Thepsourinthone has investigated the social, cultural, and structural factors that shape health outcomes for diverse communities, with a particular focus on LGBTQIA+ populations, ageing, mental health, and health service access. Their research is driven by a commitment to health equity and improving the experiences of people whose needs are often overlooked in healthcare systems.
As a Research Specialist with PCOC, Dr Thepsourinthone contributes to research that supports the continuous improvement of palliative care services across Australia.
