Dr Hui-Ling Wang is a Lecturer at the School of Business, Faculty of Business and Law, University of Wollongong. She has over two decades of extensive teaching experience in all sectors of education, specialising at the tertiary level. She has taught both undergraduates and postgraduates with the primary responsibility of subject coordinator and additional responsibility in the redesign or delivery of curricula in such areas as Management, Human Resource Management, Cross-Cultural Management, Project Management, Strategic Management, Change Management, Information Systems, Management and Electronic Business, Workplace Health and Safety, Management and Employment Relations, Organisational Behaviour, Quantitative Methods, and the Business Research Capstone.
Hui-Ling completed a PhD at the University of Wollongong. Her thesis examined the problem of strategic alignment in its most general form. She has proposed a formal framework for assessing alignment between strategies at various levels within the enterprise. She has also written peer-reviewed papers on various topics, including strategic alignment, B2B e-commerce, service strategies, teaching and education, and social inclusion. Her current research interests include AI strategy, digital transformation, and change management.
Hui-Ling is an experienced management consultant with expertise in strategic management and cross-cultural skills, having worked and lived in four international locations. She has a diverse background and has been facilitating trade between Australia and India. Additionally, Hui-Ling has provided valuable advisory and training services to organizations in Australia, India, and Taiwan. She has shared her knowledge by delivering short courses at various institutions, including the Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance (TABF) in Taipei city. She was also a co-founder of two dot-com companies. Her academic strength is built on the foundations of empathic intelligence, and the ability to connect with people of all backgrounds.
