BIO
Dr Frances Anggadi is a Senior Lecturer at the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS). Her current teaching and research focuses on the international law of the sea, with an emphasis on State practice and sea-level rise, and international fisheries law. Frances serves on the Council of the Australian and New Zealand Society of International Law (ANZSIL), and is a co-Editor in Chief at the Australian Journal of Maritime and Ocean Affairs. Prior to joining academia, Frances served for over 15 years at the Australian Government Attorney-General's Department, primarily in the Office of International Law. Frances has advised across the full range of public international law issues, led the law of the sea practice group, and in 2017-2019 served as legal adviser to the Pacific Maritime Boundaries Project.
