BIO

Dr Ellie Crookes is a feminist literary scholar whose work focuses primarily on women's history, artmaking and writing of ninteenth-century Britain and Ireland. A significant node of this research is the nineteenth-century adoption, appropriation, and manipulation of the Middle Ages (i.e. Victorian Medievalism and Reception Studies).
