Overview


Dr. Wneye Lin is an associate research fellow in Sustainable Buildings Research Center (SBRC), University of Wollongong (UOW). Wenye kept his research interests in the fields of building energy efficiency, renewable energy in built environment, and optimization of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, and indoor environment quality. He obtained his BEng degree in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering from Central South University, China, and his MSc degree in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics from Chinese Academy of Science, China. He studied in UOW and obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. Science 2017, he joined UOW as an associate research fellow in SBRC, and served as the HVAC team coordinator in the Solar Decathlon Middle East (SDME) 2018 project.

    • Guided the graduates through the design and optimization of HVAC systems for sustainable buildings.
