  • Dr Jayan S Vinod is an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at the University of Wollongong. His Doctoral degree in geotechnical engineering was awarded in 2006 from Indian Institute of Science, India. His key research areas include discrete element modelling of geomaterials, soil dynamics and engineering behaviour of methane hydrate sediment mixtures. He is one of the CIs for three ARC LP research grants and is a technical reviewer for key journals in his speciality.
