Overview


Professor Tracey Moroney is a Professor in the School of Nursing at UOW. She has held several senior leadership positions including the Head of School, Deputy Dean and Acting Executive Dean in SMAH.  Professor Moroney has worked at several universities where she has held senior leadership positions. She is also the elected chair of the ANZ Council of Deans of Nursing and Midwifery, a position she has held for 3 years.

 

Professor Moroney is a member of a large number of professional committees, including a Commonwealth Ministerial appointment to the Nursing and Midwifery Education Advisory Network. She is also a member of the ANMAC RN Standards Committee.

 

Professor Moroney is a registered nurse, who worked in clinical practice for 10 years, including as a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Neurosciences).

 

In 2021, Professor Moroney was as awarded an OAM for services to nursing education.
