Overview


Tina Prodromou commenced as a Lecturer of Finance at the University of Wollongong in 2019. Her primary research interests are in the area of Market Microstructure. Other research interests are Energy Finance and Asset Pricing.

Dr. Prodromou received her Ph.D. from the University of Sydney. She also holds a Masters in Investment Management, Honours in Commerce as well as a Bachelor in Information Technology.  

She has extensive experience in the industry, where she was involved in designing and developing software frameworks to support financial analytics for hedge funds and trading houses.

  • Tina's primary research interests are in the areas Market Microstructure focusing on high frequency trading, price impact, price discovery and the information content of decentralised markets. Other areas of research interest are Energy Finance, Asset Pricing and the application of machine learning and blockchain in finance.
