Teaching Overview


  • I teach multimedia journalism, with a focus news reporting, video in the online and social spaces, and newsroom innovation. I also embed research into the representation of disability and diversity in journalism education. I am a former journalist and news director, and have been a journalism educator since 2008. 

    I am also the founder and Editorial Coordinator of UOWTV Multimedia - the University of Wollongong's student publication that works within the journalism curriculum and on a voluntary basis across the university.
