Research Overview


  • My major area of research expertise is in High Temperature Tribology, surface/interface tribochemistry, lubricant/additives and surface coating/film for wear and friction protection as well as corrosion inhibition. I also have experience in research of surface properties of condensed matter, chemistry synthesis and physical chemistry, and i would be able to assess in the areas of Automotive Engineering Materials, Manufacturing Processes and Technologies, Tribology, Colloid and Surface Chemistry, Physical Chemistry of Materials, Nanochemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry and Surfaces and Structural Properties of Condensed Matter. I have the experience in using the Density Functional Theory (DFT) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulation to investigate the physical/chemical interactions between the surfaces in sliding contact.
