Overview


Dr Shahriar Akter is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Management, Operations and Marketing. Shahriar was awarded his PhD from the UNSW Business School, with a doctoral fellowship in research methods from the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford.  He completed his BBA in Marketing, MBA in Marketing and a Master by research degree in E-Business Management. Shahriar has published in top ranked journals including International Journal of Production Economics, Information & Management, Journal of the American Society for Information Science & Technology, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Production Research, Behaviour & IT, Annals of Operations Research, International Journal of Logistics Management and Electronic Markets. His research areas include big data analytics, digital and social media marketing, digital innovations, service systems and variance based SEM techniques etc.
