Abstract


  • The reaction of Zn(CH3COO)2 with 4-(dimethyl-amino)-pyridine (DMAP) and salicylic acid in a 1:2:2 molar ratio affords the title complex, [Zn(C7H5O3)2(C7H10N2)2]. The ZnII atom resides on a twofold rotation axis and is tetra-hedrally coordinated by two DMAP ligands and two salicylate anions in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
