Low-Frequency Terahertz Raman Spectra of Graphite Flakes and Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube Aerogel

Abstract


  • WE INVESTIGATE THZ RAMAN SPECTRA OF GRAPHITE FLAKES AND SWCNT AEROGEL IN AN AMBIENT ENVIRONMENT USING 532 NM LASER EXCITATION. A NUMBER OF SPECTRAL FEATURES WERE OBTAINED BETWEEN 20 AND 300 CM -1. THE LAYER BREATHING MODE AND ZO' MODE, TOGETHER WITH THEIR COMBINATION MODES, ARE PROMINENT IN GRAPHITE FLAKES SPECTRUM. THE MAIN FEATURE OF THE SWCNT SPECTRUM ARE RADIAL BREATHING MODES FOR SWCNT'S OF DIFFERENT DIAMETER.
