Some issues concerning the design of multi-screw feeders

Abstract


  • Screw feeders incorporating multiple screws can be most useful feeding devices for bulk solids. Little has been published on the design requirements for such feeders. This paper reviews some aspects of these feeders that should be given close attention in the design and/or selection processes.
