Metallographic method for manganese-copper alloys

Abstract


  • It is demonstrated that electrolytic polishing in an orthophosphoric acid-glycerol-ethyl alcohol solution followed by etching in diluted electrolyte produces a satisfactory surface for examination of the structure of manganese-copper alloys using polarized light illumination. © 1981.
