Metallographic method for nitinol

Abstract


  • It is demonstrated that for the alloy Ni-Ti, mechanical polishing followed by electrolytic polishing using a jet polisher such as the Struers Tenupol produces areas suitable for microscopical examination of the structure with polarized light illumination. © 1985.
