A radiometric time scale of the Triassic; discussion and author's reply.

Journal Article

Abstract

  • Webb (1981) has provided an interesting review of Triassic radiometric ages. However, we believe that his data selection and the method used to assign radiometric ages to the Traissic system and stage boundaries are inadequate. Points raised in this note have already been applied by Jones et al (1981) to dating the Silurian-Devonian boundary. -Carr et al.
