Identity-based threshold delegable signature without random oracles

Abstract


  • We propose a novel Identity-Based Threshold Delegable Signature (IBTDS) scheme. The proposed IBTDS is a signature scheme, where any signer, who holds a valid identity and a valid signing key, can delegate the power of signing to a group of m parties in such as way that any t out of m parties in the group can collaboratively construct a valid identity-based signature on behalf of the original identity holder within a given period of time. IBTDS is applicable to the situation where an identity-based signer needs to delegate his signing power to other parties for a given period. Our scheme provides the first identity-based threshold signature that is provably secure without random oracles.
