THz spintronics: THz transient probing the spin reorientation phase transition in RFeO3

Abstract


  • The spin wave excitation, manipulation and spin reorientation transition in rare-earth orthoferrites are studied systematically with THz spectroscopy. In addition, the mode hybrid and electronic transition of rare-earth ions are also investigated with THz spectroscopy.
