Synchronization control of mechanical system with multi-motor drives

Abstract


  • The synchronization control scheme of mechanical system with multi-motor drives is proposed, in which every induction motor is controlled to trace the same speed command by speed sensorless field-oriented control respectively. For every induction motor, a full-order estimator is established to identify rotor speed, stator and rotor resistance, and external load. The torque current of induction motor is calculated by using the estimated external load and PID speed controller. Computer simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
