Practical performance of the adaptive LMS algorithm

Abstract


  • This paper investigates the practical performance of adaptive LMS algorithm from a non statistical point of view. It also shows that the one dimension LMS algorithm is actually a kind of Weighted Least Square (WSL) algorithm, and that the multiple dimension LMS algorithm can be considered as a Least Time Average Square (LTAS) algorithm.
