High Curie temperature piezocrystals in the BiScO3-PbTiO 3 perovskite system

Abstract


  • Perovskite ferroelectric single crystals in the BiScO 3-PbTiO3 (BSPT) system were grown using a flux method. The Curie temperature of rhombhohedral BSPT crystals was found to be about 404��C. The dielectric loss was found to decrease to 2% in the temperature range of 150 to 350��C and reached a peak at the Curie temperature.
