Research on measurement of slipping feature of fan clutch in diesel engine

Abstract


  • The paper designs a measurement system to measure the signals of the rotate speeds on the both sides of the fan clutch in a diesel engine, and discusses a software counting method to calculate the rotate speed with the set of square wave signals of measurement. The result of this paper is a measurement base to improve the dynamic testing engine power.
