Abstract


  • A study of a particular gauge variation problem in cold rolling investigates the effects of torsional vibration, roll chuck vibration and spectral analysis. Apparatus used included on-line spectral analysis, strain gauges, seismic accelerometers and computer simulation of drive train dynamics.
