Calculation and application of the lowest coiling temperature for plate

Abstract


  • This paper described the establishment of lowest coiling temperature for the plates with thickness equal to more than 16 mm. The deformation resistance in the range of coiling temperature was measured by experiment. The relations between coiler capacity and other affecting factors such as strip thickness, strip width and coiling temperature were determined. Then the lowest coiling temperature was calculated, which has been used in production.
