Abstract


  • Amminelithium borohydride, LiBH4·NH3 which has two temperature sensitive chemical bonds N:→Li+ and N-H⋯H-B, is shown to release hydrogen at low temperatures by stabilizing the ammonia and promoting the recombination of the NH⋯HB bond. © 2010 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
