Ward-Takahashi relation for a superlattice structure

Abstract


  • The application of the Ward-Takahashi relation in a novel anisotropic layered structure (superlattice) is investigated. A consistent requirement based on the conservation laws for many-body calculation is obtained. In the case of no interlayer tunneling, the relation between the single particle continuum and the spectrum of collective excitation is explicitly discussed. © 1992.
