Introduction: Indigenous networks: historical trajectories and contemporary connections

Chapter

Abstract

  • This volume argues for the importance of recovering Indigenous participation

within the global networks of power and mobility that have constructed the

world as we know it today. It takes up a crucial challenge for new imperial

and transnational histories—that is, to explore the historical role of colonised

and subaltern communities in these processes and their legacies in the present.
