Nonlinear transmittance of bilayer graphene in terahertz regime

Abstract


  • We demonstrate that bilayer graphene exhibits strong nonlinear optical properties in the terahertz to infrared regime. The total transmittance is significantly reduced for Ω < 1THz under a moderate electric field.
