quadrupled between 2005 and 2009. The rise in awareness that the
internet contains almost limitless amounts of unregulated
unmanageable content has resulted in the development of a range of
internet fi lters; however alcohol advertisers argue that young people
can be deterred from accessing alcohol websites by the use of an age
verifi cation page.
