Cortical measures in preliminary process theory of the orienting reflex

Journal Article

Abstract

  • We regard the Orienting Reflex (OR), elicited by any innocuous novel

stimulus, as the unit of attentional processing. It is important to

understand this attentional capture, as it can serve as a model of the

    organism's interaction with its environment.
