Abstract


  • Olanzapine is widely used in treating multiple domains of schizophrenia symptoms through its binding profile to various neurotransmitter receptors including a high antagonistic affinity to serotonergic 5-HT2A receptors (5-HT2AR). On the other hand, antagonistic affinity of olanzapine to

    histamine H1 receptors is a main indicator of its weight gain/obesity side effects.
