The drivers for telenursing development have been a need for standardized advice, demand management, and equity of access (St George et al. 2008). As a booming area accelerated by rapid technology advancement, telenursing has been applied to enhance the effectiveness of nursing care processes and competencies, to reduce disparity of access to nursing care caused by time and space, and to contribute to nursing education, training, and science development (Souza-Junior et al. 2016).
